Subaru recently revealed the redesigned 2020 Legacy, and we here at Troncalli Subaru are excited to share details with you.

The Subaru Legacy has long stood out as one of the few midsize sedans on the market with standard all-wheel drive. Add in a refined interior and substantial safety features and it's easy to see how the model gained a loyal following. However, never content to rest on its laurels, Subaru has unveiled a completely revamped Legacy for the 2020 model year.

While the spec sheet may look familiar at first glance with features like symmetrical all-wheel drive and BOXER engine options, the new 2020 Legacy is a top-to-bottom redesign. The very core of the 2020 Legacy has changed, with the new model riding on an all-new platform. This stiffer, stronger platform allows for improved handling and a quieter cabin space.

Speaking of the cabin, Subaru has also retooled the Legacy's interior. From the dashboard to the back seats, the cabin has been refreshed to reflect evolving expectations for materials, technology, and usability. The standout new features is a 11.6-inch vertical touchscreen display occupying the center stack.

Updates continue in the engine bay. An updated version of the 2.5-liter four-cylinder BOXER engine is standard, offering 182 horsepower to those willing to punch the accelerator. There's also an available 2.4-liter turbocharged engine with 260 horsepower available.

The new 2020 Legacy isn't available at dealerships just yet, but we can keep you informed of new information and even help you order your new Legacy when the time comes.
